Supporting Your LGBTQ+ Grandchild

In partnership with our friends at SAGE–and with a foreword by Dear Abby—Supporting Your LGBTQ+ Grandchild offers support for grandparents about what to do when a grandchild comes out. Full of useful knowledge, answers to common questions, and helpful tips, this is a must-read for any grandparent looking to learn more about how to support LGBTQ grandkids…or looking for support for themselves. Looking for support as a grandparent? Check out our PFLAG Connects: Grandparent Community, a monthly, virtual support meeting. Each meeting is led by skilled facilitators who guide attendees in receiving support, giving support, and finding resources to help their loved ones, families, and communities.

Additionally, every meeting will include a Gender Spectrum Breakout Room, especially for grandparents of transgender and gender-diverse grandkids. These one-hour meetings will take place on the last Monday of each month, at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
